1. Overview
This policy outlines the procedures and terms for the cancellation or termination of services provided by TechnoPlanet Enterprise ("Company", "we", "us") to the client ("you"). This policy is supplementary to any specific terms agreed upon in your Service Agreement or Statement of Work (SOW).
2. Cancellation of One-Time Projects
A "One-Time Project" refers to a service with a defined scope and end date (e.g., software development, website build).
- Initiation: You may cancel a project by providing formal written notice to your project manager or via email to info@technoplanetenterprise.com.
- Payment Liability: Upon cancellation, you are liable to pay for all work completed up to the date of cancellation. This includes all hours logged by our team, any third-party costs incurred, and any non-refundable deposits as specified in the SOW.
- Refunds: Advance payments are generally non-refundable. Please refer to our Refund Policy for details.
3. Termination of Recurring Services
A "Recurring Service" refers to an ongoing service billed on a periodic basis (e.g., Managed IT Support, AMC, Hosting, Retainers).
- Notice Period: Either party may terminate a recurring service agreement by providing a minimum of thirty (30) days' written notice to the other party, unless otherwise specified in your SOW.
- Final Payment: You will be billed for the final 30 days of service from the date of notice. Services will continue to be rendered during this notice period.
- No Prorated Refunds: We do not provide refunds or credits for any partial service periods remaining after the 30-day notice period.
4. Termination by TechnoPlanet Enterprise
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to:
- A breach of our Terms of Use or the specific Service Agreement.
- Failure to make timely payments for services rendered.
- Any conduct deemed harmful to our business, reputation, or other clients.
5. Consequences of Termination
- Final Payment: All outstanding invoices become immediately due and payable upon termination.
- Intellectual Property: Upon receipt of all final payments, TechnoPlanet Enterprise will transfer to you all intellectual property and work product developed and paid for as part of the service agreement.
- Data Handling: For services where we manage your data (e.g., hosting, managed support), we will provide you with an opportunity to retrieve your data. Following a 30-day grace period after termination, we reserve the right to securely delete all client data from our systems.
